Hot topic with everything going on but it applies heavily here unfortunately. With that recent post about the Air 3s showing what the new price will soon be, I checked around and saw that the Osmo Pocket 3 is now 800 dollars for just the camera alone, and almost 1k for the creator combo. Ouch. I remember paying 733 for the creator combo and 2 years of refresh, pretty huge jump of about 54% for the camera and 46% for the combo. Along with that, with the post about few days ago mentioning the Air 3s going from 1600 to 2250 for the fly more combo (around 41%, although not technically in effect yet) and the 3s intelligent battery going from 159 to 245 (54%). I guess we now have an idea on what the range will be for price increases across the board for DJI until this all hopefully goes away soon, although I wonder why its only these 3 items right now, my guess would be because everything else is still in stock domestically. This super sucks. Im glad I got all my stuff I wanted before this, at least my “essentials” although there are things I want that I can live without. I have found that Amazon currently still has the Air 3s battery for its original price so Id grab that now if you can, and although on backorder, B&H has the pocket 3 for 620.
Yeah I think the Mavic 4 Pro is off the table for me, sadly.

Sadly. If you do the math on the Mavic 3 Pro Fly More Combo, it comes to about $5500. Ouch. So with the new hardware price increase, it’s likely the Mavic 4 Pro could start at least at the $6500 range… though I can’t say for sure. It might be more, it might be less. I was planning to buy the Air 3s later on to save up, but this forced my hand, and I had to put it on my credit card lol
@Charlie
Are we to assume the new Mavic 4 will be 50% more?
Are we great yet?
Now the question is, are people still going to buy at these prices?

Not sure. I imagine those who have the means will, but that’s only a fraction of the consumer base. I’m concerned about how/if this could impact refresh costs for replacements too.
@Charlie
It will. I believe everything they sell will be impacted, including refresh.

I hope that anything bought with refresh pre-tariff will stay the same. I bet that technically since it’s a contract, it has to stay that way. One can hope.
Well, maybe by the time the Mavic 5 Pro comes out, we could be lucky and a certain person might have a heart attack, and tariffs are gone. Time to skip another generation of drone.

I’m tired of ‘winning’.

Once prices go up for whatever reason, I don’t see them coming back down.
@Calder
I tend to agree, but prices are so high (and only for one region) that most people won’t afford or buy at these outrageous prices. I hope they’ll come back down at some point.

Big turds are hard to flush. I wouldn’t count on that guy going anywhere.
@Tru
Gotta keep flushing.
The website also shows the Avata 2 Fly More 3 Battery Combo going up to $1633 from $1199. Oddly, it shows the single battery combo only going up to $1087 from $999.

Good catch. I’ll be sure to add that in, definitely interesting on the reduction.

Good chance I’ll sell my A2 since I barely fly it.
@Calder
I’d hold onto it for a few months at least. If they don’t figure a way around the tariffs, then it will be worth more once they’re factored into the new price.
At this point, when I want to upgrade, I’m driving a few hours north to Canada.
