Looking for suggestions on reliable drone insurance providers, preferably ones you’ve used or heard good things about. Also open to hearing about any providers to avoid.
For context, I run an LLC and hold a Part 107 certification, so I’m aiming to have insurance coverage throughout the life of my business. Thanks!

Most of those policies just cover the drone itself, not any damage it might cause to other property.

Yeah, that’s been my experience too. I’m really looking for broader coverage—something that would protect my LLC in case the drone causes damage during a crash.

Maybe look into an umbrella policy. It could extend coverage to situations like that.
Isn’t it possible to just get coverage through the same company that insures the rest of your property?

Not always. Many providers don’t offer drone insurance, or if they do, it’s limited to the drone itself. I need comprehensive coverage that includes liability for any potential accidents.
I’ve heard good things about Skywatch.ai. I’m planning to get LLC insurance with them soon.
