So I’ve been hearing that DJI packages coming from China are getting confiscated—is that actually true? If it is, I was wondering if I could get around it by having a friend in Germany send it to me from there. Would that still get blocked or would it work?

DJI’s own site just says ‘not available in your region’ when I try to order.

That doesn’t mean it’s being confiscated though. Could just be blocked for sale.
Wait what? Confiscated? What’s actually happening? I noticed the U.S. online store is sold out too but didn’t realize it might be deeper than that.
If it’s tariffs, the issue might be tied to where it was made—not just where it ships from. So even if your friend in Germany sends it, it still could get flagged. Might even cost more if it passes through extra customs checks.

Yeah I should’ve mentioned this earlier—I’m actually trying to get something from the DJI enterprise line. They won’t ship it to me at all.
