Should I put a protective glass on the Osmo Pocket 3 lens?

I’m pretty new to using the Osmo Pocket 3 and want to protect it as much as possible. I was thinking about getting protective glass for both the screen and the camera lens. But I’m unsure—will adding something to the lens hurt the picture quality? Is it worth it? Or are there specific types of glass that work better without messing up the footage?

Screen maybe, lens no.

Why’s that? Does it mess with image clarity or make it blurry?

Because honestly it’s kind of pointless.

If you drop the camera, the whole gimbal is probably toast—not just the lens. If you’re that worried about scratches, try using a mist or ND filter instead. At least they’re designed for image quality.

@Cove
Appreciate the breakdown—makes sense :slight_smile:
