I’m trying to figure out if I should return this or not.
The quality looks off but I can’t tell if it’s something I’m doing wrong or a defect.

Hate to say it, but the image looks pretty bad all the way across… maybe it’s just low light? What were your camera settings when you took this?
Was it cold where you flew? Sometimes lenses fog up in freezing temps. I had that issue before when flying in sub-zero weather.

Ah I’m actually in the tropics, so definitely not cold. But I guess condensation could still happen? I flew again today and wiped the outside of the lens, still had the same problem though.
You sure it’s condensation ah?

Hahah not sure, man. I checked the lens and flew again today—same issue even after wiping it. I’m thinking maybe something’s off internally.
@Renny
You ever think of getting the Flip instead? Honestly more value for money, and I say that as someone with 11 drones.
Could just be compression on the forum’s side, but what ISO were you shooting at? If it’s set too high, things can get noisy real fast.
Yeah, return it.
Looks like your lens might be misaligned. Try taking a clear shot in bright daylight to confirm, then reach out to DJI with the evidence.
If the fogging is happening inside the lens, probably a sealing issue. Might be worth sending it in for a repair.
Are you using auto focus? I accidentally switched to manual once and ended up with footage just like that. Worth double checking.
Try filming something simple like a brick wall from a distance, while staying still. Easier to see what’s going on without all the motion blur. You could also use resolution targets to test sharpness.
