Should I sell my DJI Flip and get the Mini 4 Pro instead?

I got the Flip a couple weeks ago and flew it a few times. I really like the camera and how easy it is to use. But now I keep seeing people on this forum talk about the Mini 4 Pro being way better, and it’s making me second guess things. What really stands out to me with the Mini 4 Pro is the better obstacle sensors and longer flight time. Do you all think it’s worth switching?

I used to have the Mini 4 Pro, then moved to the Air 3S, and now I’m flying the Avata 2… and honestly, I’m having way more fun with it. I’m not into photography much—just love the flying part. FPV flying is just a different kind of fun.

That said, the Mini 4 Pro was solid. I do miss the longer range and flight time. The camera on it is better too if that’s your main focus.

Yeah, I think the Mini 4 Pro is worth the money, but the Flip is good for what it offers too. The Mini 4 Pro works better for more things, while the Flip has a few special features. Just make sure you’re really going to use those things the Flip does differently.

It really just depends on how you plan to use it.
The cameras are almost the same on both.
The Flip gives you quick shots and follow-me mode without needing a phone or controller.
The Mini 4 Pro handles wind better since it doesn’t have prop guards catching air.
Just thought I’d throw those points out there.

I think you should only swap drones if you feel like the Flip is holding you back. So ask yourself—are you running into problems because it doesn’t have Remote ID, or does the short flight time bother you, or is it struggling in the wind? If any of those bug you, maybe it’s time for the Mini 4 Pro.

I picked the Flip because it’s small enough to fit in my backpack or luggage without taking up much space.
