Been practicing a lot lately and I can finally say I’m getting better at flying the Avata! It’s taken a bit of time to get used to it, but it’s a lot of fun once you get comfortable.
Not gonna lie, the Avata looks like a blast — just cruising around seems like a great time. I bet using the goggles makes it feel next-level. Meanwhile I’m just here staring at my regular controller lol.
@Lennox
It really is wild. Feels like you’re flying super fast. I grew up playing F-Zero and Pod Racer, and this brings that feeling back big time.

Totally agree — it’s just super fun and really pulls you in.

That moment when you’re just gliding over a field, then hit full throttle and shoot off — seeing that through the goggles is something else.

I’ve got the Avata with the Motion Controller 2 and it’s a blast. Goggles 2 really make it feel like you’re sitting in the cockpit.
The Motion Controller is fun, but I still need to get the stick controller and try flying manual.
Which controller are you using? I’m on the Motion Controller 2 with mine.
I’ve got a Neo arriving tomorrow and I’m losing my mind waiting for it. I want to try exactly this kind of flying. Looks so cool!

Same here — Neo is the only drone I’m eyeing just to dip my toes into FPV a bit.
@AeroWhisperer2
Funny enough, I meant to buy the Avata originally but got carried away and grabbed the Neo instead. Still, it fits what I need. I just want to try proper FPV flying with something quicker than my Mavic Pro 4. Plus, if I mess up, replacing a Neo won’t hurt as much as losing my MP4. I’ll fly it a bit and decide later if I want to move to the Avata 2.
