I just ordered an Avata 2 (still waiting for Amazon to ship it) and now I’m eyeing the DJI FPV Remote Controller 3. With Prime Day coming up, do you think there’ll be any decent sales on DJI gear? Or is it not worth waiting around?
That’s if DJI stuff is even still in stock in the US next week…
With the new tariffs, a lot of DJI stuff is already out of stock. Sellers don’t want to order more since they don’t know how much tax they’ll be hit with when it arrives. If things change politically, stuff might go back to normal, but right now your own taxes are basically making this gear more expensive.

Yeah I’m starting to see that. I ordered the Avata 2 like two weeks ago and it still hasn’t shipped. Supposed to arrive by July 2nd but who knows. Amazon support said they have it, just taking a while to get it ready. I’ve been super hyped since I flew a friend’s one!
Honestly? I doubt it. If you need it, get it now while it’s still out there. Stock is drying up fast.
You can usually find the controller cheaper on eBay from Japan, or even grab a DJI refurb for around the same price. And honestly, that new controller from Amazon will feel used within two days anyway.

Yeah — just go for an official DJI refurb through eBay and don’t stress it.
Nah, probably not. Most stuff is already sold out.
You might see a ‘discount’ on some overpriced third-party bundle, but that’s about it.
