So, I went ahead and bought a Black Falcon 4K drone last night. I’m starting to worry it might’ve been a mistake. I thought I did my homework, checking reviews and all, but now I’m seeing more stuff saying it’s a cheap drone.
A bunch of review sites rated it really well, like Top Consumer Guide calling it the “Most Popular Choice” and giving it 9/9, and Consumer Expert Review giving it 5 stars as “Best of the Best.”
Is this just outdated info, or were these review sites also tricked by the hype? Any advice?
Those sites are basically ad sites disguised as reviews. They all seem to say the same thing about the Black Falcon, like “stunning drone shots” and “affordable, high-tech option.” It’s mostly scripted marketing.
Most of those review sites look really sketchy. YouTube reviews from actual drone users might be more reliable, especially channels dedicated to drones. A quick Google search of “Black Falcon 4K drone” pulls up a lot of scam warnings, so proceed with caution.
@Tracy
Exactly! I’ve seen so many “Is X A Scam” videos that just end up promoting the product with affiliate links. It’s hard to find real feedback. I did find one review from someone who actually bought it, and they said it only had 5 minutes of battery life, with video quality that looked like grainy security cam footage.
If you’re curious, I also tried reverse image searching the drone, and it’s actually sold on AliExpress for around $20.
