Thinking about adding an Air 2S… even though I already have a Mini 4 Pro?

Hey everyone, just wanted to ask for some thoughts. I’ve got the original Mini (the first one) with the Fly More Combo, but I mainly use that one to practice flying. My main drone right now is the Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo.

Now I found a deal on a refurbished Air 2S Fly More Combo for about 650€ from the official DJI dealer in my country — and it comes with a 2-year warranty since I’m in the EU. Money isn’t the issue, but I don’t want to throw it away either.

I’m mainly tempted by the better wind resistance, higher max altitude, and that Sony sensor. But the downside is it’s an older model that’s been discontinued.

I don’t plan to sell the Mini 4 since it’s super convenient to fly anywhere because it’s under 249g.

What do you all think? Worth picking up the Air 2S too or just stick with what I’ve got?

Nah, I wouldn’t bother.

Not really worth it. I’ve got the Mini 4 Pro and I’d only replace it with something like the Mavic Pro. I might get an Avata someday, or maybe grab a Neo for my girl.

Just to add… my Mini 4 came with the RC2 remote. If I buy the Air 2S, it would come with the basic remote. Would my RC2 work with the Air 2S?

Thanks for the help!

Nope, the RC2 doesn’t work with the Air 2S.

Yeah, the RC2 from your Mini 4 Pro won’t work with the Air 2S.

I’ve got a Mavic 3 Classic, the Mini 4 Pro, and the Air 2S. Honestly, the Air 2S just stays at home as a backup now. The Mavic does all the serious photo work, and I use the Mini 4 Pro for vertical video stuff.
