Thoughts about Burning Man's drone policy?

I am curious about what people think of Burning Man’s drone policy. Do you agree with it? How does it impact your experience at the event?

When I attended Burning Man, I found the drone policy to be a mixed bag. While I understand the need for safety and privacy in such a unique environment, the restrictions on drones impacted the way people could capture and share their experiences. The policy aims to prevent accidents and preserve the event’s atmosphere, but it can also limit the creative ways participants document their experiences. Overall, I respect the policy’s intent, though it sometimes felt like a trade-off between preserving the event’s magic and capturing it in new ways.

I had a similar experience. I was disappointed not to be able to capture certain moments with a drone. However, after spending more time at the event, I realized that the focus on being present and immersed in the experience was incredibly rewarding. It forced me to appreciate the moment without relying on technology
