Tried a long exposure with my Air 3, how’d it turn out?

Took my Air 3 out for a spin and tried a long exposure shot over a road. Not sure if it’s perfect, but it looks kinda cool. What do you all think?

Love the shot… but I think that’s technically not allowed in the US. Crossing roads is fine, but hovering above them, not so much. Still, the photo is awesome.

Man, everything seems illegal when it comes to drones these days.

Where does it say you can’t hover for a few seconds for a shot? I’ve never heard that.

Looks like it’s hovering over the median strip. Is that okay though?

Which rule says that exactly? It’s not like there are cars under it… just empty space.

By ‘park,’ do you mean hover? Because that seems a bit much.

Is it a general no-fly rule over roads or just for traffic? There’s clearly no traffic here.

@Jory
It’s specifically about sustained flight over vehicles. No cars here, so it’s probably fine.

Uh oh, better watch out… dronie law enforcers on the way lol.

Yeah, it’s the same in Germany, totally not allowed.

@Gentry
Actually, in Belgium, this would be fine.

Oops, meant Germany, but yeah, the EU rules can vary.

No worries. Here in Belgium, you just need to avoid restricted zones, stay under 120m, and keep the drone in sight. Planning on taking my drone on vacation, so it’s good to know how rules change.

Nice shot!

Just curious… were you using the 24mm or the 70mm lens?

Would look even cooler with some car lights for that classic light trail effect.

Kinda just looks like a brightly lit highway to me.
