VTX shuts off after crashing

I got a Tinyhawk 2 and noticed something weird – every time I crash or even disarm from just a couple feet up, the VTX shuts off and I can’t see the camera feed. To get it back on, I have to unplug the battery and plug it back in. Is this something that could be fixed in BetaFlight or is there a way to use a controller switch to turn it back on? Or is this a VTX problem? Any ideas would be appreciated!

Do you still see the OSD (on-screen display) elements? If not, it’s probably your VTX. Might be a loose component causing this.

Nope, after a crash, my goggles just go into static. I’m using the stock VTX, and the antenna is a little loose. It’s strapped right next to the battery. Could that be the problem?

@Ash
That shouldn’t be the issue. It sounds like it might be something else.

I’ll test it more once the batteries are charged. When I bumped up the power from 25mW to 100mW, it seemed to stop happening, though.

Check the capacitor wires. I had similar issues with my 5" racers, and replacing the capacitor and wires solved the problem for me.

Thanks for the tip, I’ll check that out!
