Thermal isn’t as exciting as most people think. Even high-resolution ones with a fast refresh rate can be underwhelming. Unless you have a specific use, you might not find it worth it. I use thermal for wildlife management, and it does the job, but if you’re buying just for fun, I’d say save your money.
