I’m new to drones and looking to upgrade from my SNAPTAIN e20. The camera quality on it is really bad, and overall it hasn’t been a great experience. What DJI drone would you recommend for a beginner like me?
If it’s your first drone, you might want to check out the Mini 3. It’s at a decent price and doesn’t require a license.

I’m deciding between that and the Mini 4k.

Same here. I ended up going with the Mini 3 because it’s more capable overall. Plus, it’s on sale right now for $329 on DJI’s site.
@Colby
For that, I’d recommend the DJI Mini 4 Pro or the Inspire 3.
@Quinby
That’s a solid deal. Definitely worth going for the Mini 3 at that price.

Either one would work well. You’ll be happy with whatever you choose.
@Vic
I think I’ll go with the Mini 3. I saw a review saying the phone holder on the Mini 4k isn’t great.

If you can get the RC 2 controller with the screen, it’s worth it. It’ll fit your budget and make flying easier.
@Vic
That sounds awesome. Thanks for the advice!
Where are you based? In some places, having a drone under 250g is important. In that case, the Mini 3 or Mini 4 with the screen controller would be a great pick.
You might want to consider the DJI Agras T50. It’s great for covering any type of ground!

I’d suggest the T25 instead. It’s more affordable and still performs really well.
What are you planning to do with your drone? Do you want to fly for fun, film videos, or take photos? And what’s your budget? Also, do you have any experience flying drones before?

I mainly want to film and fly around.

Those are way out of my budget right now.
@Colby
The Inspire 3 is excellent but pricey and big. The Mavic 3 is also really good but still expensive. What’s your price range?

I’m looking to spend around $100 to $500.

Yeah, it’s amazing, right? (Though I realize now it’s way over your budget ).
