What do you think about the TikTok ban? Could DJI face the same fate?

Thanks, that’s exactly what I was getting at. I use my drones for business and am hesitant to invest in upgrades if there’s a risk of bans.

If a new drone could pay for itself in under a year, I’d go for it. I just bought an Air 3S and plan to enjoy it as much as I can. Some speculation suggests existing drones might be grandfathered in if a ban happens, so it’s worth keeping your equipment in top shape. It’d be nice if DJI opened a repair center in the US to make Care Refresh more accessible.

Honestly, this isn’t that different from what every app on your phone already does. The people pushing for bans just want to distract you from the fact that they’re profiting off your data too.

There have always been platforms for short videos, and there will continue to be, no matter what happens to TikTok.

RIP Vine.

The OP is worried about DJI drones becoming unusable if there’s a ban. Gaming communities are having similar conversations about Chinese-owned games.

@Sam
I hate that I had to create a DJI account to use my drone. Can we go back to when things didn’t need to connect online just to function?

Maybe this will finally get people to record videos in landscape mode instead of portrait, lol.

It probably took you longer to type ‘B@n’ instead of just spelling it normally. Maybe take a break from TikTok, buddy.

The word is banned in topic titles here, so I had to spell it that way. Maybe educate yourself before trying to insult people—it just makes you look foolish.
