Is this shot looking too saturated? It’s my first time using ND filters, so I’m still figuring it out. Any feedback?
Honestly, I love it. Reminds me of those Apple TV screensavers.

Yeah, same here. It looks fantastic.
Absolutely stunning. Loving this forum for posts like these.

Totally agree! The posts here, especially when people crash their drones and then DJI drops a comment, are pure gold.
@Sky
Yeah, DJI support really knows their stuff!
Love that spot! Flying from Treasure Island over the Bay Bridge is amazing at sunset. The shot does look oversaturated, though. If your drone has waypoints or cruise control, try using that for smoother shots.
It’s definitely a bit oversaturated, but you can probably get away with it here. The sky near the sunset looks more natural, but towards the edges, the colors are a bit too intense.
Not the smoothest, but wow, the shot is breathtaking! Great job.
Looks great. If you need a flying buddy, I’m over in the East Bay. I’ve got a Mini 3
Wait, are we allowed to fly over traffic?

It’s actually over Yerba Buena Island—the road goes through a tunnel there, so technically not over traffic.

You can fly over if you’re crossing, but just hovering over is not allowed. So, this one should be fine since it’s just a quick cross.

I don’t think that’s entirely right.

It’s definitely not allowed like that.

Check out this video for a detailed explanation:

You might want to rewatch that video if you think it says it’s okay.

Why is it illegal if it’s just a brief flyover without hovering? Are we assuming the person doesn’t have the right permissions?
@Leith
The issue is that you’re passing over moving cars, which aren’t part of the operation. It would only be legal if there were no cars below while crossing. It’s tricky to avoid cars with all that traffic.
@Jin
Isn’t there a chance they’re using a drone that qualifies for these kinds of flights? There’s an ‘or’ in the law that allows for certain conditions.
