What is the best indoor drone for recording videos?

I need recommendations for a drone that can be used indoors to record videos. I’m specifically looking to film inside a hospital.

There are many drones you can build yourself that are durable and perfect for indoor flying. They’re worth considering.

I use my Mavic to fly indoors without any issues. You need to be more specific about your use case. Are you doing FPV racing, marketing videos, or structural inspections?

I’m trying to make marketing videos, like showing a route inside the hospital. I have a Mavic Mini 3, but it’s difficult to fly indoors because it loses the satellite signal and becomes hard to control.

The DJI Avata is great for fly-through videos, like the Porsche museum video on YouTube. It’s ideal for marketing shoots. Video example here.

This is exactly what I want. Can I achieve similar results with my Mavic Mini 3, or should I invest in an Avata?

@Remy
It sounds like you need more practice. Losing satellite doesn’t make the drone go crazy—it just means it won’t hold position as easily. No drone will have perfect indoor flight without some manual input. Practice will help a lot.

@Uma
Would it be easier to use a smaller drone like the Avata for this?

Not necessarily. Just keep flying your Mini more, and you’ll get the hang of it.

If you’re new to this, the DJI Avata is beginner-friendly, especially with the motion controller.

I already have the controller from my Mavic Mini 3. Should I buy the motion controller, or can I use the one I already have?
