This is my third Mini 4 drone, but it’s the first one I’ve received with this sticker. What does it mean?
That’s a C0 class rating sticker.

Why didn’t the first two drones I got in the US have this sticker? It’s only been a few months between purchases, all labeled as ‘new.’ This one came from DJI warranty, but it’s the only one with the sticker.
@Kim
I think starting in early 2024, the stickers became mandatory, at least in Europe.
I think it’s from Vault 0.
It’s related to European regulations. I’ll check back later to confirm if someone else doesn’t explain it.

I’ve seen posts mentioning this is tied to European regulations. What’s different about this model? And why is it suddenly being shipped to US customers when previous ones weren’t?
@Kim
Originally, it didn’t qualify for the C0 rating. But it might depend on where it’s coming from. Some stock might be set aside for Europe, while others are for the US. The sticker won’t change how the drone works; it’s just a certification marking.
@Rylan
The sticker being off-center is bugging me! I’m in the US, so I don’t think I even need this sticker. Can I remove it? All three came from the same Canadian distribution center.

Even in Europe, people can remove the sticker. Go for it!
@Rylan
For a second, I thought I got some EU-exclusive version, but then realized… nope. Just annoyed at how badly it’s placed.

The drone’s legal in the EU with or without the sticker. The C0 just means fewer restrictions compared to a C1 label.
It’s an EASA Class 0 sticker.

Why do only 1 out of the 3 drones I’ve received have it?

The rule requiring these stickers only started in January this year.

In non-European countries, DJI might’ve just shipped older stock without stickers instead of relabeling them all.
I’m wondering too. My Care Refresh Mini 4 Pro replacement came with this sticker, but my original one didn’t have it.
I bought a Mini 3 two months ago that had this sticker. Returned it because it wouldn’t fly straight. The replacement I got from Costco didn’t have the sticker. I was curious about it too.
Looks like something out of Fallout.
Definitely Vault 0. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
Vault-Tec approved.
