What to do after earning my 107 certification

If I pass my 107 certification but lack resources to operate, are there any places that can help me once I’m certified

Don’t think of the Part 107 as the finish line. Keep learning about drones, how to create bids, and build connections in the community. The commercial drone space is crowded, so you’ll need to stand out. Be ready for a lot of rejections. Look for side gigs to gain experience and don’t expect to jump straight into a full-time income with just a drone.

If you find a suitable arrangement, consider the part 61 or 141 route.

What do you mean by that

Finding help to get a commercial drone and the necessary equipment to operate it.

Sounds like you’re looking for a job.

@Kerr
That’s correct.

Check what’s available locally. Some companies may want specific software for surveying buildings or you might choose to join a photography team that needs a drone. You could look into security jobs; I’ve seen several postings. There are also positions monitoring camera feeds over programmed survey areas in case of emergencies.
