Where does this cycle end…?

Last fall, I bought the Neo when it came out. Seemed like a cool idea. And it was a cool idea—tons of fun, like a little piece of magic.

But you know what would’ve made it even more fun? A controller. So, I got one.

Then I realized the Neo + controller combo wasn’t exactly the most stable (hello, flyaways), it handled wind terribly—which is great, since I live in the windiest city in America—and the video quality was… well, not great. So, I upgraded to a Mini 4K.

The Mini 4K was perfect. Flew great, video looked nice… until one day, it didn’t. And I started thinking, wouldn’t obstacle avoidance be nice?

So tonight, I bought a Mini 4 Pro. This is it. The last one. The only drone I’ll ever need.

…Right?

I think I’m in deep #%*~ now.

I had a 4K for a while, but ended up getting the 4 Pro… now I spend 99% of my flights doing waypoint missions and Hyperlapse. No regrets.

Sorry, buddy… you might as well sell a kidney.

I bought a Mini 2 back in 2021 just because I was curious. Six drones later, I’m currently shopping for a Mavic 3.

It doesn’t stop.

This is why I always tell people: Look at the specs, figure out what you need, and just buy that.

I’d love an Inspire 3, and I could probably put it to good use. But I don’t need it. M4P is enough for me.

(For now.)

@Ira
(For now). It’s always going to be (for now).

Oh boy, you have no idea.

I have two 1st gen OA cameras and the original mini drone. Then I got the OA 3, OA 4 and now the OA5 Pro. Somewhere in all that I picked up the OM6, DJI Mic v1, Mic 2, and Mic Mini (all in the complete kits). Not to mention the Mini 4 Pro. Then came the Neo and finally the OM 7P. I’m just proud I was able to skip the OA2 and Flip. It never ends.
