Buying a set as a gift, but I couldn’t decide which one to buy. Please share your inputs!
I always stick with the official stuff when I can. Feels safer.
Something about the official DJI filters just looks cleaner to me. Not sure what it is, they just look sharp.
I picked up the Neewer set shown in your picture, and the ND16 wouldn’t attach right. I was in a rush and it was super sunny, so I grabbed a darker one and it worked okay, but I didn’t get to test all of them. Still kinda bummed the first one didn’t fit properly.
I use K&F filters for my Mini 4 Pro, Neo, Avata 2, Pocket 3, and Action 5 Pro. No issues with them so far.
I use Neewer. It’s just a filter, so third-party stuff is fine. Only thing is that DJI’s ND256 can be really helpful for long exposure shots.
I’ve got the Neewer pack and haven’t had a single problem with them.
They’re just filters. I’ve used Neewer on my Mini 4 Pro for over a year now—bought off Amazon—and they’ve worked perfectly.
If your budget allows, I’d always lean toward DJI parts. I’m not sure how big the price difference is, but it’s usually worth it just for the peace of mind.

Is it still okay even if the kit doesn’t have an ND32 filter?
@Remy
If you can afford it, I’d go with Freewell filters—they’re good quality and come with more options. But between the two in your post, I’d pick Neewer. DJI is nice but too pricey for me. I use ND128 on bright days, ND8 for sunsets, ND32 when it’s cloudy, and ND64 for sunny days. I got the Freewell ND/PL combo filters and I’ve had no complaints.

We don’t have Freewell in my coontry. Just K&F. Will it be better than Neewer?
@Remy
I’ve tried all three brands and K&F was the worst when it came to putting them on and taking them off. Just felt like more hassle.
@Remy
I think those three filters will handle pretty much any lighting condition you run into.
I got a filter set in my Costco bundle but haven’t even tried them yet. Need to mess around with them soon.
I bought Neewer filters for my Air 3 at first, then tried out Freewell ones—and wow, the quality difference is real. Freewell just feels way better made. Before that, I thought Neewer was fine, but now they seem kinda cheap by comparison. I use K&F on my Sony camera and like them, not sure if they make drone filters though.
This is what we have available in our country. Just a 6-pack. Will this be better than the Neewer and DJI set?
Aftermarket filters are honestly the better deal. You can get a full set of six for way less than DJI charges, and they still fit great. Check Amazon, there’s tons of options.
