Turn off Digital Stabilization in windy conditions—those ripples show up every time on my Mini 4 if I forget.

What can I do to reduce the ripples?

Avoid flying in strong winds or try FPV mode, which limits the gimbal to 2-axis stabilization.

Trust me, you’re better off stabilizing the footage afterward than using DIS. If there’s no optical stabilization, it’s not worth it.
@Avery
Where do I turn off digital stabilization? I can’t find the option. I have a gimbal, so I guess I don’t really need it.
Earthquakes.

Thanks!! I had this same issue on my Mini 3, but it never happened on my Mini 4. Super weird.
Probably the wind.
Wind for sure.
Could be wind or unbalanced props. Check for any cracks in your propellers.

Nope, the props look perfect. I did get a few strong wind warnings—could that be the issue?

Yep, sounds like wind. Try flying on a calmer day and see if it still happens.
Probably digital stabilization kicking in.
Was it gusty when you were flying?

Yeah, I got a few high wind warnings, and the gimbal had a little shake now and then.

That’s likely it. A gust probably hit, and digital stabilization tried to compensate, causing those ripples.
Dang, how high were you flying?

Around 100m, I think.
