I wanted to know whether anyone had ever had a wind-blown drone, such as a Mavic or Air size, simply fall out of the sky. I’ve only seen a few examples of that online, but I’m concerned that if the drone tips more than 60 to 70 degrees due to a 35 mph breeze, would it simply shut off its motors and drop out of the sky?
It’s rare for a drone like a Mavic or Air to just drop out of the sky due to wind, but strong gusts can make it unstable. To be safe, avoid flying in high winds.
