I’m looking for a drone that fits in my Enduristan 4X tank bag, has follow mode, and is easy for a beginner to fly. I’ve read a lot about the DJI Neo but I’m worried because I keep hearing about flyaway issues.
You really shouldn’t use follow mode on a motorcycle.

Honestly, it doesn’t work well and most of the footage ends up boring. The drone might crash into a tree or powerline eventually. It’s more of a gimmick unless you have a very specific way to use it. For track filming, it’s better to have someone actually flying the drone who knows how to get good shots.
@Rye
Yeah, I’m only planning to use it for some B-roll shots.

Also, be careful with regulations. It’s not just about where you want to fly. You should look up the drone rules before doing anything risky.
@Vale
I’m only flying on tracks, not on the street.

Airspace rules still apply everywhere. Can you use Google to check your local drone laws?

I’ll do that once I get the drone. Like I said, I’m a beginner and mainly want it for nature shots and cinematic B-roll.
@Ashton
You should check first before spending money, or you might find out you can’t do what you want.

So, what drone would you pick for travel?

Honestly, just get a selfie stick.
@Vale
I already have one. So why be so rude? Just answer the question or don’t say anything, please.

This comment is empty, maybe a mod can fix that.

What country are you in? Maybe I can help.
That tank bag is really small. You might squeeze a Mini 4 Pro and its controller in there, but it’d be tight and could get damaged, especially off-road. I can fit mine in a hard case inside a backpack, but it’s snug. For your tank bag, Neo might be better size-wise, but I haven’t tested it myself.
@Lior
Yeah, I was thinking that too. Maybe a power bank and battery pack for the Action 5 could fit as well. The tank bag is mainly a charging station, so no wires running from the bike to me.

You could keep the drone in a backpack and batteries and charger in the tank bag, that might give you more options.
@Lior
I worry about security in the backpack if I crash or fall though.

Yeah, that’s why I use a hard case inside my backpack. You didn’t say if you’re riding pavement or off-road. If it’s pavement, putting it on the bike is fine, but off-road could be rough. I rode trails in Utah and the drone would have taken a beating. You have to think about your gear, storage, and riding style. There’s no one perfect answer. Just what works best for your situation. Hope that helps!
