Just wondering if anyone else has had trouble ordering directly from DJI recently? I ordered the Avata 2 on May 26 and it still hadn’t shipped as of yesterday. Then this morning I got an email saying they won’t be fulfilling my order because of ‘unforeseen shipping restrictions.’ They didn’t cancel it though or explain what’s next.
I’m in the U.S. and I actually ordered a Mini 4 Pro from them about a month ago and had no issues—it arrived 5 days later. I’m starting to think maybe they’re stopping shipments to the U.S. now because of the customs mess?
I’m watching this too. I ordered on the 30th and haven’t heard anything either. Looks like this whole DJI mess is because Trump signed some executive order to review them again.

Hope you get yours without issues! Keep us posted!
Sounds like you’re in the U.S.? With everything happening with trade issues, shipping from China to the U.S. is a mess. Ports are backed up, and customs seems all over the place. There’s a YouTube channel called “What’s Going on With Shipping?” that covers this stuff in more detail if you’re curious.
I ordered the Air 3s Fly More Lite on May 21. DJI split the shipment into 4 parts. The drone itself is still making its way here—it just left a FedEx hub in Alaska.
Things are a bit chaotic lately with tariffs being switched on and off. Heard some talk about more restrictions on foreign-made drones again, which might be slowing everything down.
DJI’s probably doing their best, but yeah, this sucks. Hope your order gets sorted.
I had a similar issue with the Air 3s Fly More package a few months back. Ordered before the tariffs hit, got a tracking number, and it just sat in China. Reached out via chat and suddenly there was movement.
Drone showed up alone, no accessories. Then no updates for the second package. I contacted support again and they told me it might take 6 months to fulfill. Then I called and was told customs rejected the second box and DJI didn’t know what was happening.
They recommended canceling and buying from a U.S. dealer. I did that through a camera store in New Jersey and got it in 4 days.
