DJI vs Holy Stone… which one is better?

With tech, you get what you pay for. I’ve tried a $200 drone and the Mini 3 Pro… let’s just say there’s no comparison.

Or buy a decent used DJI and skip the entry-level stuff!

But if a Holy Stone HS600 is $369 and a Mini 2 SE is $299, should the HS600 be better than the Mini 2 SE?

@Gray
HS600 only has a two-axis gimbal. Have you seen the yaw sway on its videos? It’s noticeable.

I’ve got a Holy Stone 750 and a Mini 2. Mini 2 has way better range, video quality, and wind resistance. But Holy Stone has that cool feature where it records sound, which can be handy.

Thanks for sharing! I have a 175D as my first drone, and it’s been great to learn on. Holy Stone really knows its market.

Military doesn’t have airports, but I get what you mean, lol.

Check out YouTube reviews for a real look at what they can do. Holy Stone’s top drones don’t quite match the Mini 2’s camera, battery, or range, but they’re cheap and pretty decent.

Good idea. I’ve been watching some reviews too, just curious what owners of both brands think.

I’ve flown both, and DJI is on a whole different level! My Mini 3 Pro is amazing.

Interesting how the person asked for feedback only from people who’ve owned both, yet most of these comments are from people who haven’t.

Right? Just goes to show why stricter drone rules keep coming in. Some folks don’t seem to follow basic guidelines.

@Gray
That’s a bit of a stretch. Most drone enthusiasts are responsible and follow the rules. You’ll always get a few bad apples, but it’s not the majority.

Fair point. A few people can definitely make the whole community look bad.

Started with an older DJI Spark and loved it. Now I just got a Mini 4 Pro and can’t wait to try it out.

Been thinking of getting a DJI Mini 4 Pro, but the possible ban is making me hesitant. Just wrote my representative about it.

Got the HS710. Nice starter drone, but it’s got none of the automation that DJI offers. Love my DJI Mini 2 but fly the HS more since it’s cheap to repair and doesn’t restrict my flying.

Makes sense. HS is a great way to get started without worrying about breaking the bank.

Owned quite a few brands, but only DJI gets my serious use. The others mostly sit around now.

Owned several Holy Stone drones, including the HS600. Tried DJI too, and nothing matches the reliability of DJI. Hope we see more U.S.-made drones one day.

Just get the Mini 2 SE… top quality at a solid price point.
