How’s the used market looking for lightly flown drones?

Honestly? Pricey.
You’ll often pay what it originally cost—or even more—and you’re not getting any support from DJI. The whole situation has basically turned into a grey market.
@Finley
Where do folks actually manage to sell their drones for original price?

You can try eBay, Craigslist, Swappa… but it really depends on what you’ve got. If it’s an Inspire 1 or Phantom 2, good luck. If you have something like an Air 2S, you might actually make a little profit.
@Finley
I’ve got an Avata 2, Neo, Mini 4 Pro, a few FPV builds, and a pile of accessories. Honestly getting a bit bored with the hobby though. But man, I hate dealing with eBay and Craigslist.

Totally get that. For some of us, these drones are tools—not toys. Farmers, for example, rely on DJI drones for things like spraying and multispectral mapping. DJI dominates that space. If they disappear, there’s no real alternative ready to take over.

I need a Mini 4 Pro, actually.

$2000. Barely used. Six batteries, two chargers, RC2. But I’m keeping the carrying bag — it’s too cool.

Two grand?? I’ve already got five batteries and RC2… I just need the drone itself.

Honestly bought it all to crash before I risked a Mavic. Now it’s just sitting in a closet collecting dust. Might just hand it off to a friend at this point.
If you’re feeling generous, I volunteer as tribute
@Phoenix
Not a bad pitch. I’m in line after them!
@Finley
I checked eBay just now and honestly didn’t see any of those big prices. I’ve got an Air 2S I might sell, but they seem to be listed around $500 with extras. Doesn’t seem like a seller’s market.

I grabbed a Mavic 3 Pro from Woot for about $1500 right before the tariffs hit. Had a feeling this might happen, especially with the Mavic 4 getting pushed back again and again.
Here in Vegas, you can still find the more expensive ones like Mavic on display, but the Mini line is completely sold out.
@Qi
Huh… I wonder if a bunch of people tried to stock up and now there’s just too much supply?
@Qi
That’s true, but the post is about what’s happening in physical stores locally.

I’ve been using a DJI Mini clone — Specta Mini. At the time, it was way cheaper and hard to tell the difference in image quality.

Wait, you can buy a Mavic 4 in Vegas? Where?
Honestly I’m just trying to figure out if I should hold onto my extra Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo or sell it. I accidentally bought it and missed the return window (long story). If things get worse and repairs get blocked, maybe I’ll be glad I kept it.
